>>> Paintings 1, 2, 3, 5, 9 & 12 come with legally binding 'Certificates of Authenticity' (COAs) which are signed and thumbprinted by Norval Morrisseau as he personally handled and inspected the 'front and reverse' of these canvases for his identifying marks. These COAs were eyewitnessed during their presentation to Norval Morrisseau in Thunder Bay, Ontario in 2002 by Mr. William Wallace, ChristianEugene Morrisseau and later attested by David Morrisseau (click HERE for more information). These paintings have been found proof positive for the signatures painted on canvas versos with a dry brush (DB) technique by Dr. Atul K. Singla* of 'Worldwide Forensic Services Inc.' [1] 

* - Dr. Atul K. Singla has qualified and testified as an expert witness in the scientific field of Forensic Document Examination more than 500 times and is recognized in United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada and India. He had provided conclusive evidence that the above painting was signed by the artist Norval Morrisseau, meaning that the possibility that an alternative hypothesis is true can, in practice, be excluded.

~ These genuine Norval Morrisseau paintings were acquired by  Ugo Matulić a.k.a. Spirit Walker (Calgary, Alberta) from Mr. Rolf Schnieder's Private Collection, Thunder Bay, Ontario. 

>>> Paintings 4, 11 & 13 come with professional appraisal work done by Mr. Joseph McLeod of Maslak Mcleod Gallery in Toronto Ontario. Mr. McLeod  was a member of the Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC); and is currently a member of The Canadian Association of Personal Property Appraisers (CPPA). Further forensic work was conducted and found proof positive for the signatures painted in black paint with a DB technique by Mr. Brian Lindblom** of 'The Document Examination Consultants Inc.' (click HERE for more information). Also, painting 13 ("Father and Son", 30"x30", © 1977) was involved in court action Michael Moniz Vs CTV Globemedia Publishing Inc. CV-07-1776 SR in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Brampton, Ontario with positive compensatory outcome in favour of Mr. Michael Moniz in 2009 (click HERE for additional information).

** - Mr. Brian Lindblom formed Document Examination Consultants, Inc. in 1987 after working at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Central Forensic Laboratory in Ottawa for seven years. In 1986 Brian was awarded a Diploma in Forensic Document Examination by the Forensic Science Society of England and he is a member of both the Canadian Society of Forensic Science and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.

~ These genuine Norval Morrisseau paintings were acquired by Mr. Michael Moniz (Brampton, Ontario) from Randy Potter Estate Auctions in Port Hope, Ontario. 

>>> Paintings 6 & 8 also come with professional appraisal work done by Mr. Joseph McLeod, who was a member of the Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC); and is currently a member of The Canadian Association of Personal Property Appraisers (CPPA). Further forensic work was conducted and also found proof positive for the signatures painted in black paint with a DB technique by Mr. Brian Lindblom of 'The Document Examination Consultants Inc.'. These two paintings were involved in court action Otavnik Vs Vadas SC 07-51428-00 in 2007 and it was resolved with positive compensatory outcome in favour of Mr. Joseph Otavnik (click HERE for more information).

~ These genuine Norval Morrisseau paintings were acquired by Mr. Joseph Otavnik (Oshawa, Ontario) from Randy Potter Estate Auctions in Port Hope, Ontario.

>>> Painting 7 ("Untitled", 58"x138", © 1979) was behind Norval Morrisseau on the wall while he stayed at Nimkee Art Gallery in M'Chigeeng, Manitoulin Island, Ontario in 1999 (click HERE for more information). This painting has also been found proof positive for the signature painted in black paint on the face of the canvas with a DB technique (bottom left) by Questioned Document Examination QDE performed by Mr. Kenneth J. Davies*** of 'Hawkeye Studios (Grapho-Lab® Services)' (Calgary, Alberta).

~ This genuine Norval Morrisseau painting was acquired by Nimkee Art Gallery ( M'Chigeeng, Ontario) from Mr. Rolf Schnieder's Private Collection, Thunder Bay, Ontario.

>>> Painting 10 ("Untitled", 29"x20", © 1976) was donated to The Thunder Bay Art Gallery which is an accredited Class "A" Institution in 2004. This genuine Norval Morrisseau painting was viewed, inspected and approved by the Registrar of The Thunder Bay Art Gallery, Gail Fikis, the gallery director Sharon Godwin, the Board of Directors of the Gallery and declared authentic by the head curator Mr. Glenn Allison. It was then fully vetted and approved by the Government of Canada as per the Canadian Cultural Property Review Board (click HERE for more information).

~ This genuine Norval Morrisseau painting was acquired by Mr. Joseph Otavnik (Oshawa, Ontario) from Randy Potter Estate Auctions in Port Hope, Ontario and personally handled and examined by Mr. Joseph McLeod who was a member of the Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC); and is currently a member of The Canadian Association of Personal Property Appraisers (CPPA).
