"Now, when I paint a picture I just alow myself to be used. I pick up the pencil and the canvas. I allow the interaction with soul to reflect in the mind, to put down these images of people, men or women or children especially. I may draw a hundred children, but there is never the same colour."

Hi Spirit Walker, I love your Blog and all it's information and wonderful pictures of the incredibly beautiful art that Norval Morrisseau painted.
This painting above was sold at Randy Potter's Auctions to a lucky collector.
The article below this one shows Morrisseau inspecting or finishing one of his works he had done in 1979. The painting in this article is from 1977 dated. The similarities in style and composition are obvious. Morrisseau painted many pieces with two or more shamans facing each other and they are very popular paintings among collectors. Kinsman Robinson Galleries and the some others have stated 'there are no pictures of Morrisseau with any of the paintings he made from the 1970's?' Well...do you mind explaining to me what the picture of Norval Morrisseau in 1979 is all about?
Both Kinsman Robinson Galleries and Coghlan Art Studios have said in the past that Morrisseau didn't paint in the common 1970's style we see found being sold at over 25 different galleries across Canada and elsewhere? Ironically this picture of Norval Morrisseau in 1979 with one of his finished paintings was featured also on the Kinsman Robinson website? What do you think about this Spiritwalker?

None are so blind as those who will not see... Bravo Spirit Walker! You have done it again, proved beyond a shadow of any doubt that Norval Morrisseau was painting a fake. You have saved his legacy!
